AJay! x Kayeandre - Voicemail

Originally born in Jackson, MS., AJay! came from very humble beginnings. He recalls most of his family members having a musical presence growing up, yet, he didn’t take an interest until high school. While attending Mississippi School of the Arts, a friend introduced him to ‘FL Studio.’ A leading, user-friendly, recording software, still dominantly used today. However, it wasn't until his college years at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL., where AJay! would go on to dedicate his time to the music. Upon graduating with his Bachelor's Degree, he got an internship with Icon Studios in Atlanta, GA. There he would meet key-individuals that would help shape his audio production career over the coming years. Around that same time, in 2016, AJay! would go on to land two big placements in the Atlanta Hip-Hop scene with Gucci Mane and Cap 1. Enticing a ‘starving-artist’ with a break-out opportunity, or so he thought. Towards the end of that year, AJay! grew tired of the Trap scene in Atlanta. His mixed appeal wanted more, but could not grasp it. Ultimately forcing him to take a mental break from the music industry altogether, for two years.

At the end of 2018, he decided to rebrand himself and go into a new direction with his production. Inspired by the genres of R&B and Hip-Hop his whole life, AJay! began redeveloping his sound, and found himself back in a stable position. He took the popular likes of Melodic-Soul, California Hip-Hop, and Trapsoul-R&B, and added his signature style to them. And no, I’m not talking about “Talk to Em AJay!” Though that cannot be forgotten, it is his drum patterns and chord choices which distinguish his appeal from the rest. Forward to today, AJay! has more recently signed a management deal with Co-Sign Radio/Co-Sign Records under Justin Polinsky (Founder & CEO). Since then, he has already done songs with OsheaCory Jones, LoverboyBass, and Kyle Banks, with more to come. This is only the beginning of a foreseeable future, and soon, he will get to tell his own stories.

This song is about when meeting your one genuine love comes with its complications. She already has a man in her life, but claims he does not treat her right. She may live miles away, yet "Somehow you halfway across the world, but your still on my mind." The retraction between her stuck with him, while wanting you. Distances the chance of us ever being together.

Mayal - This Isn't Real

THE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE SINGLE "THIS ISN'T REAL"FEATURED FROM THE UPCOMING EP "NOCTURNAL"DIRECTED AND EDITING BY IgnjaticStudiosSONG AVAILABLE:Linkt...

This Isn’t Real by Mayal relseases today, so make sure you don’t miss out! For those of you hearing about Mayal for the first time, here is the run down. Mayal, is a 25 year old musical artist from Calgary, Alberta. His inspirations stem from artists like Travis Scott, Tory Lanez, Drake, Aries, Kanye, and Russel, and started making beats when he was 13 on FruityLoops. While his face is well known to some in the scene here in Calgary, his upcoming work will be the first of many to come from this up and coming artist. This song has been in production since last November and has been crafted into something truly awesome to listen to. In November of 2018, Mayal was in a library and heard a homeless man speaking about “Spooky action in the distance” so he wrote it in his notes because it sounded like a cool line. Then a year later, he used it as an intro to the record. The song is about life moving fast and shit not seeming real because you can’t catch up to the things happening. The beat was produced by Nxire, a Youtube producer Mayal found while looking for beats. His style is very cinematic, and his beats are very complex in terms of sound. This Isn’t Real is available on all streaming platforms now!

This article is a little different, a departure from the usual content we share with our audience. Nefarious Supply was started with one goal and that was to create a platform for underground artists to thrive, and while that is still our main goal as a team we cannot just sit by silently with the recent events that have taken place in the United States. Nefarious Supply is made up of a community of minorities and we wanted to share our support with the most recent protests that have taken place in multiple states across the United States as well as globally due to the abhorrent murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police who have the oath to protect and serve. Unfortunately, George Floyd’s murder is a trend in the United States, and it is with great regret that his name must be added to the list of black victims who have lost their lives due to excessive force, and the racism that plagues this country. The unfortunate victims of police violence and racism also include Ahmaud ArberyBreonna TaylorEric Garner, Sandra BlandStephen ClarkAlton SterlingTrayvon MartinMicheal BrownTony McdadeKendrec McdadeOscar GrantKenneth Chamberlain, Kimani GraySamuel DubosePhilando CastileFreddy GreyAmadou Diallo and so many others whose lives have been snuffed out.

At the end of the day, America is a diverse country made up of people, and cultures that have contributed to the melting pot of what America is. it also a country where social mobility is a luxury not known to many parts of the world. But despite the positive attributes America has we would be ignorant to not acknowledge that this country has a problem with race that dates all the way back to its roots, and enough is enough. We as the youth have a responsibility to stand up and fight for what is right, and the change we want to see. We as the youth are responsible for setting the example for future generations and the ideals we want to uphold. Our voices deserve to be heard, and it is our constitutional right to get out there and made them heard no matter how much pushback we get from the current administration, and other who want to keep the tradition of racism alive we have to draw the line and take a stand and let them know enough is enough. All lives cannot matter until BLACK LIVES MATTER, and that is the current reality. The Nefarious Supply staff is standing on the right side of history and standing side by side, and in solidarity with the protesters and we will do everything we can to help fight to combat racism.
